Chips and Dip

There are 1000 ways to enjoy cassava and sometimes it goes well with a dip.

• Cassava
• Salt
• Oil
• Margarine(optional)
• Peas
• Carrots
• Onions
• Garlic
• Tomatoes
• Muchuzi mix
• Paprika
• Mixed herbs


The Chips:

  •  Boil the cassava in salt and water
  • Drain the cassava,slice and shallow fry to make crisp
  • Plate and brush with margarine and herbs while chips are still hot


The Dip:

  • Boil the peas till soft
  • In a separate pan, brown onions, add garlic and tomatoes
  • Add the spices, carrots and simmer ill puree is a little thick
  • Add the peas and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes and let the dip sit for a few minutes before serving
